The mission of the UC Merced Campus Garden is to fight food insecurity on campus by providing students access to fresh produce. With seasonal produce informed by the preferences of students, there is always something delicious to harvest. Eating fresh, locally grown produce is not only healthy but helps reduce your carbon footprint!
The garden is always looking for volunteers. As a volunteer, you help with weeding, planting, maintaining the watering system, and overall maintenance of the garden. Student volunteers form the backbone of the thriving community of people and plants that make the Campus Garden a resource for everyone on campus.
